Funeral was today at eleven.Maurice, Rose, Adinah and Farryl,
Tali and Steve, Eric and Susan and Peter and Pearl , Eric, Leanne
and Dan, Me, Michael, Jonathan and Anthony were all there . There were many many people from work and friends and the funeral
was so dignified. I felt so much emotion welling up for all the losses and sadnesses.We were at prayers tonight and it was so emotional
seeing Alan and just thinking back to the days when we all used to gather at Aunty Rose or we used to go for lunch to Benoni
and have the greatest fun in their large garden. Was like a weekend away.
May we share in each others simchas
and may we all find strength in the knowledge that we are all so closely connected even though so far apart physically.

Hukkot this week“The Torah portion of Hukkot
tells about the death of Miriam and Aaron, Moses' sister and brother. It was a sad time in the life of Israel and its great
leader. This was a period in which the wilderness generation was quickly passing, making way for the younger generation who
would be given the opportunity to enter the Promised Land.”As we all ponder the loss of our dear family leaders so close
to each other, we search for answers and meaning. This week’s parasha gives as some perspective and also much hope.Comfort
